Operations Officer Standard Chartered Bank - China


The job holder is responsible for HR project base activities, including HR Project, HR Finance, HR budget and HR events in new branch opening.
•Support SD in migration and tracking with HRSSC.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

•Responsible for HR Finance monthly report, and ensure all cost and expense are fully in line with the financial guideline and within the budget.
•Ensure the reconciliation of GL entry are met and periodically clear the aging records in GL suspense and sundry account.
•Follow with global budget process, work with HR team head in driving the budget process.
•Responsible for the HR Project, including implementing the global initiative project in China or local initiative projects.
•Responsible for HR duties in new branch opening process, as the SPOC of the HR to support business in the end to end process, including the local bureau connection, people transfer, and people arrangement in local cities.
•Support the Operations manager in the implementing the TOM, including the process improvement and the follow up the migration activities with HRSSC.
•Support Operations manager in the tracking issue with HRSSC, and ensure total customer satisfaction by providing quality services, submitted in timely manner and communicated efficiently.
•Support SD team in building robust controls in the process to ensure effective legal and regulatory compliance in HR function.
•Maintain up to date documentation and process maps.
•Continuous improvement in productivity to the standards prescribed from time to time.
•Upholding the values of the Group and company at all times.
•Compliance with all applicable rules, regulations as well as company and group policies
•Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures.
•Report all suspicious transactions to the line manager.

Qualifications & Skills

•Graduate or alternative similar level of qualification
•At least 5 years experience in the Human Resources function with 3 years in the financial industry (preferably foreign bank)
•Familiar with finance and GL knowledge and methodologies
•Experience working with offshore organizations is an advantage
•Proficiency in English is a must
•Good analytical and problem solving skills with orientation for technology solutions
•Good interpersonal, influencing and communication skills to engage different stakeholders
•Experience in handling multiple projects and perform under strict timelines.
