Job Summary:
The Portfolio Management Officer is responsible for handling loan disbursements, letters of credit operations; monitoring project implementation; managing project and trade finance transactions, including designing turnaround schemes, restructuring, and management of receivership accounts.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Banking, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent. A Master’s degree and/or a chartered financial qualification will have added advantage;
- A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in progressively responsible project/trade finance positions in a Commercial/Development Banking or Financial institution environment;
- Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, report writing and interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise due diligence and utmost care in ensuring accuracy of information used in decision making;
- Highly proficient in enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP and spread sheets.
