£45,941 - £53,233 pa (Appointments are usually made on the first point of the salary range)

Key to this role will be to lead, direct and manage a project delivery team within the Estates Office planning and development section. You will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of projects from inception to completion, supporting the delivery of the Estates Strategy and related business objectives for the University.
To act in the role of Faculty Liaison Officer. Dedicated to one or more of the Faculties or Departments of the University, you will be expected to advise the Faculty at a strategic level on their future plans and proposals. The plans are to be communicated at senior levels within the University ensuring these plans are reflected in Financial and Strategic Plans.
You will be organised, highly motivated and able to work on your own initiative with a proven ability to implement change in a complex working environment. You will develop internal and external relations, motivate, develop and encourage performance in others and have the ability to negotiate and persuade at a high level, so it is important that you have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Previous experience at a similar level is essential and you will have a construction related degree or equivalent qualification in Surveying, Architecture, Engineering or Project Management and be a professional membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g. RICS, MCIOB, RIBA, CIBSE, ICE).
