Job Description:
The  Waste Management Engineer shall be responsible for providing our clients with specialist advice and reports during the design, operation and decommissioning of waste facilities and for the production of all environmental and waste management documentation required in terms of the country specific legislation. The waste engineer shall also be responsible for the execution of solid waste related infrastructure, which will include pre-feasibility, feasibility, planning, construction, operation and remediation.  The work may involve design and construction of additional civil engineering projects.

Minimum Requirements
·         Masters in Science (Civil Engineering) or equivalent
·         Registered with Pr Eng or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience with working and building strong relationships with clients
  • Project managed complex and large waste projects, Waste projects undertaken in African countries
  • Minimum 10 years experience in the design and construction of waste transfer sections, solid waste sites, Buy Back Centers (BBC), Material Recovery Centres (MRF)

Depending on South African permanent residency status, the position can be offered on permanent or contract basis.
