Cardno ENTRIX is looking to add significantly to its footprint within the upstream and midstream oil and gas market sector through the addition of a key senior leader with strong connections and recognized experience in the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate would possess a strong technical and business development skills and have a deep understanding of client needs and key services in this market sector.
The position will work closely with the Cardno ENTRIX Client Service leadership and the Cardno ENTRIX Strategic Development team to significantly expand the footprint of Cardno ENTRIX services within the domestic United States upstream and midstream oil and gas industry in multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities
Candidate can be in any of our US office locations, with a preference in Denver, CO. However, all qualified candidates will be considered and therefore encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Identification and procurement of contract opportunities in the domestic upstream and midstream oil and gas industry commensurate with the technical service offerings of Cardno ENTRIX
- Identification of new geographic service centers necessary to facilitate growth within the market sector
- Assistance in the recruitment of key staff to expand the Cardno ENTRIX staff capability in these new geographic service centers
- Participation in regional and national business development activities within the oil and gas market sector
- Track and provide advice to Cardno ENTRIX Management Team regarding market trends and opportunities
- Coordinate teaming and subcontracting discussion/agreements to help grow the sales and sector practice
- Develop and manage key client relationships
Other Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree, in environmental science, biological resources, or a closely related field
- Minimum 10 years experience providing or managing technical services to the upstream and/or midstream oil and gas industry, preferably in the United States
- Minimum 5 years experience in the environmental consulting industry
- Well known to upstream and midstream oil and gas industry personnel currently working in Alaska, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Georgia, or other active oil and gas exploration and development provinces
- Evidence of previous project and major proposal assignments or Project Manager for major proposal and project efforts ($500,000 and above) including building and directing proposal teams, scopes, budgets, and schedules over the full range of project scale and complexity
- Demonstrated experience in managing major key clients and key client accounts ($500,000 and above), and directing key client penetration strategies, opportunity tracking and development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Must be authorized to work in U.S. without company sponsorship
- Ability to work independently
- Positive, flexible, & team-oriented approach
- Self motivated; strong initiative; & effective oral & written skills
- Detail oriented; resourceful
