Capital Expenditure Coordinator , Sadiola mine based in Mali
Our Sadiola mine based in Mali requires a suitably qualified and experienced Capital Expenditure Coordinator who will be accountable to manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) and applications for the mine reporting to the Engineering Manager.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The role holder has the following accountabilities and authorities:
- Drawing of the scope of capital projects;
- Convene monthly capital review committee meetings;
- Responsible for all reports pertaining to CAPEX;
- Liaise with procurement and finance department to ensure that CAPEX reports are submitted timeously;
- Coordinate CAPEX budget compilation;
- Schedule cash flow in conjunction with budget holders;
- Prompt overspend and ensure that a revised or change of scope after effects is in place;
- Management of administration of COSTRAC, ensuring that all transactions are loaded.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
- Good working knowledge of MS Office packages particularly MS Excel (with focus on pivot tables) and MS Projects;
- Good knowledge in scheduling;
- Project Management skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge of French language would be an added advantage;
- Extensive experience in Gold Mining Industry;
- Experience with Commercial Chain operation;
- Must be prepared to work long hours and sometimes in challenging conditions and circumstances;
- An international driver’s license is essential.
