Position Summary

   The main role of this position is to contribute to an effective operation and management of commercial Agreements related to the evacuation of BG Brasil oil & gas production in the Santos Basin (e.g. Sales Agreements, Lifting Agreements).                                                                                                       
 
   An important deliverable of this position is to ensure an optimal lifting schedule of oil cargoes and timely issuance of required documentation for oil exports. It will also perform regular analysis of different business scenarios in order to support management decisions on oil logistics and  marketing.                                                                                             
 
   This position will also interact with several internal and external stakeholders located in Rio, Houston and Singapore. Therefore it is required excellent communication skills (oral and written), both in Portuguese and English.
Key Accountabilities
 
 - Comprehensive understanding of the terms and conditions of all commercial Agreements; - Manage obligations in all oil and gas commercial Agreements (e.g. nominations, scheduling, penalties, payments);
 - Develop scheduling and logistics models and perform analyses in support of business decisions;
 - Track production, inventories, transportation and sales data with the objective of producing analyses and reports, working closely with the operations team for production forecasting;
 - Work closely with the marketing and shipping teams in Houston and Singapore to define strategies for oil cargo nominations for each FPSO;
 - Liase with field operator and partners to ensure best lifting windows to BG;
 - Responsible for obtaining required documentation for the completion of a full cycle of an export cargo (Customs registrations, Cargo Report, Invoices, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading);
 - Control and verify all payments/receivables related to the oil & gas operations (e.g.invoices, royalties, special participation, demurrage);
 - Provide support to the implementation of logistics sytems which will be used to manage the commerical operations;
 - Work closely with the Finance department to ensure timely payments and track changes in regulation;
 - Contribute to negotiations of new Agreements and amendments (e.g. Lifting Agreement, Sales Agrement);
Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute
 
  Knowledge and skills:
- Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration;
- Good analytical, modelling and excel skills;
- Ability to negotiate and influence;
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally;
- Knowledge of the Brazilian crude oil business environment desirable;
- Fluent/highly effective written and oral English and Portuguese, with the ability to present confidently at all levels;

   Personal attributes:
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-functional team;
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
- Self motivator and competence to deliver under minimal supervision and tight deadlines;
- Pro-active and able to antecipate work demand.
