About the Fellowship
Grameen Foundation is looking for passionate and talented leaders for our inaugural Fellowship class.
The Grameen Foundation Fellowship Program is a unique opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in global development and social innovation on projects that make a difference in the lives of the poor. Each 12 month field assignment is tailored to match the Fellow’s skills and interests with the needs of Grameen Foundation’s local field offices in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, and will include significant hands-on fieldwork. Potential Fellowship projects range from financial analysis of Microfinance Institutions seeking capital investments to scaling innovative mobile phone-based solutions that connect the poor to vital information on health, agriculture and livelihood opportunities. All Fellows will receive lodging and a living stipend for the duration of their placement.
Qualifications
Fellowship applicants must have at least three years of applicable work experience, or one year of work experience and an advanced degree to be eligible to apply. English fluency is required for all fellows; Spanish fluency is required for all placements in Latin America and the Caribbean.
