Bankers Without Borders Careers 2013

Internships
The internship application for Summer 2013 is now open! A Grameen Foundation internship provides a unique opportunity to learn more about our work while strengthening our ability to carry out our mission to help the poor -- and the poorest -- create a world without poverty.

All internships are at least six weeks long and interns are required to be based in one of Grameen Foundation's offices. There is a wide range of internship opportunities available within Grameen Foundation. Some of the most common internships are summarized below:

Program Intern: Program teams, such as the Social Performance Management Center and Bankers without Borders, need additional resources to advance their efforts. In addition to general support, interns are commonly assigned to special projects that will span the course of the internship. Projects vary based on team needs.

Marketing/Communications Intern: Grameen Foundation continues to expand its online and offline communications activities to support fundraising efforts and build public awareness. Interns in this role enables GF to increase visibility in key markets by updating web pages, editing and writing copy as needed, as well as developing, researching and writing features for publications, websites, and social media channels.

Finance Intern:  The Finance internship will provide Grameen Foundation's Finance Team with accounting and auditing support and coordination. Interns will conduct account reconciliations; assist with entering, updating, and extracting data from various systems; efficiently perform and filter research with minimal guidance; generate reports based on accounting system reports and supporting documentation; and work with standard versions of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
