ICAP-Columbia Senior Project Officer

ICAP-Columbia University seeks applicants for Senior Project Officer positions to coordinate the implementation of a five-year US Government/PEPFAR-funded international technical assistance program. The Senior Project Officers will work under the direction of Principle Investigators/Project Directors for this project.
Incumbents will:
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination internally within ICAP and between ICAP and collaborating partners to address technical and operational matters;
  • Triage and coordinate the development of responses to requests from the USG donor including annual (or more periodic) work plans, budgets, and reports;
  • Facilitate implementation of technical assistance projects and activities across ICAP, its country offices and collaborating partners;
  • Lead ICAP’s work to generate, route, review and approve project-related grant actions;
  • Coordinate logistics, content and evaluation of program-related meetings, conferences, trainings and workshops
Requirements:
  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in public health, public administration, or management
  • Five (5) years of experience of project management experience either in the headquarters of an international organization or in a developing country.
  • Requires international travel up to 30% time.
  • Fluent English is required and the ability to speak French, Spanish, or Portuguese is a strong advantage.
