Strategic Accounts Lead - Automotive ReachLocal - Chicago


The Strategic Accounts Lead – Automotive will be tasked with growing revenue from industry specific accounts via client relationship management and by developing and guiding teams responsible for direct sales into assigned accounts. Reporting to the Vertical Director – Automotive, you will be responsible for planning, strategizing, and executing account plans for strategic accounts while maintaining a process-driven & proven approach to generating incremental revenue growth within the vertical. By supporting and leading a team of sales professionals, you will consistently hit revenue targets as well as improve client retention through continued use of a multi-channel sales approach and best in class program management.
The Strategic Accounts Lead – Automotive will report to the Vertical Director – Automotive and is responsible for:
  • · Strategic Accounts operations and staff
  • · Developing and delivering targets that align with Corporate initiatives
  • · Facilitating sales training
  • · Onboard team members, coach, and develop
  • · Ensure execution against sales process
  • · Serve as a role model Corporate operating values

Job Skills & Responsibilities:
  • · Direct management of vertical account team (sales and account management personnel)
  • · Ongoing organization and execution of account plans for Strategic Accounts to ensure performance to plan
  • · Identify product requirements related to specific revenue targets and influence sales accordingly
  • · Strategic corporate level relationship and account management with corporate stakeholders within high priority, high revenue accounts
  • · Work closely with Vertical Director to align revenue targets within the larger framework of the vertical
  • · Identify opportunities for product, program, and process improvement, with a focus on driving significant revenue growth
  • · Assess opportunities and allocate resources to maximize revenue growth across existing and prospective strategic clients
  • · Report and present on business performance weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually related to performance to plan
  • · Assess, escalate, or resolve issues in a timely and effective manner

Qualifications:
  • · Bachelors Degree or Equivalent education / experience – MBA highly desirable
  • · 7+ years experience in digital marketing related roles (sales & account management highly desired)
  • · 7+ years experience in Automotive related roles & industries highly desirable
  • · 5+ years managing client account teams
