Aviation Maintenance Engineering Technology Faculty

Responsibilities:Reporting to the Chair of Aviation Programs at the College, Faculty members are responsible for providing effective instruction in Aviation Maintenance Engineering and related discipline. Curriculum is taught to second language learners within a student-centric learning environment that fosters respect for students, their culture, and traditions. Faculty members play an important role in assisting with the development and preservation of system-wide and directorate-specific policies, and are viewed as active participants in academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.
Requirements:Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Aviation related field (Masters preferred); An applicable Airframe or Engines AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) license or military equivalent in a current or valid for renewal status is required; Minimum 3 years' of industry teaching / training experience in the Airframes and Aero Engine areas including instruction / examination knowledge at different levels (A&B1.1 license level) or equivalent; At least 5 years' of relevant aviation industry experience; Practical ability in inspecting / testing / troubleshooting aircraft systems; Should have completed an International Techniques course with a thorough understanding of training procedures equivalent to EASA or GCAA CAR 147 & 66 requirements ; Excellent presentation skills both in theoretical and practical required; Superior communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels within the organization.

Compensation:We offer a comprehensive tax-free salary and benefits package for expatriate Faculty members, including accommodation, 48 working days of paid annual leave, tuition assistance for eligible dependents, comprehensive medical coverage, annual air tickets for employee and family, plus a contract completion bonus.
