Responsibilities:Reporting to the Chair of Engineering Programs at the College, Faculty members are responsible for providing effective instruction in Mechanical Engineering and related discipline. Curriculum is taught to second language learners within a student-centric learning environment that fosters respect for students, their culture, and traditions. Faculty members play an important role in assisting with the development and preservation of system-wide and directorate-specific policies, and are viewed as active participants in academic and extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.

Requirements:Successful candidates will have a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Ph.D. preferred); Minimum 3 years' of teaching / training experience at a tertiary level; At least 3 years' of relevant industrial experience in Mechanical Engineering; Prior experience in developing course curriculum as per accreditation and international standards; Excellent presentation skills both in theoretical and practical required; Superior communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels within the organization.

Founded in 1988 with four colleges, the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) have grown to be the largest of the higher educational institutions in the UAE, gaining a well-respected reputation for innovative learning. Compensation:We offer a comprehensive tax-free salary and benefits package for expatriate Faculty members, including accommodation, 48 working days of paid annual leave, tuition assistance for eligible dependents, comprehensive medical coverage, annual air tickets for employee and family, plus a contract completion bonus.
