Finance Manager, Projects & Risk

You’ll manage change programmes within the finance area, including international accounting and audit and risk management; prepare financial modelling for projects and various initiatives; and contribute to the implementation of strategies and policies. This will involve the review, revision and maintenance of financial regulations, policies, procedures, controls and risk management.

You’ll be an integral part of our Finance and Management Information Section which prepares budgets and final accounts for three Commonwealth funds and manages payroll & pensions, payments, revenue, travel & subsistence and financial management information.

To succeed, you’ll be a professionally qualified accountant with experience of risk management, including knowledge of risk registers; project management; writing, developing and maintaining internal policies; and supporting committees. Crucially, you must be able to operate effectively in our multicultural setting and be a national of a Commonwealth country.
