The role
We are currently seeking a talented Project Manager/ Substation Specialist to work closely with our other specialists to manage the 500Kv power transmission project in Central Asian Republic region.
With a minimum of fifteen years' commercial experience in large scale transmission and distribution, and substation projects, you will play a key role in project management and implementation of 500kV and 200kV substation and overhead line design and construction.
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have:
  • 20 years' of experience in large scale transmission and distribution and substation projects, 7 of which will have been in the consulting practice as Project Manager or Team Leader for construction supervision or project implementation management;
  • Particular experience in design and construction of 500kV or higher voltage level substations and overhead lines;
  • Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • Experience in Central Asian Republic countries;
  • Experience/knowledge on policies and guidelines of ADB or other multi/bi-lateral development institutions;
  • Ability to prepare technical reports in English;
  • Knowledge of Russian language will be an added advantage.
