Established in May 2001, Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation has been driving the development of Hong Kong into a regional hub for innovation and growth in several focused clusters including Electronics, Information and Communications Technology, Green Technology, Biomedical Technology, Material and Precision Engineering. THE ROLE

• Serves as a strategic partner who works closely with CEO and other executive leadership team members in overall corporate planning, strategy development and implementation; Identifies implications of overall business strategy for areas managed and leads the development and implementation of cluster  strategies;
• Leads strategic planning & market research team in providing insightful information to help develop the Innovation & Technology Ecosystem;
• Fosters synergies among government bodies, commercial organizations, institutions and technology talents to nurture innovation, technology development and commercialization of technology research;
• Develops and implements high quality laboratory support services as needed for successful clustering; 
• Directs corporate IT team to utilize technological tools proactively in helping business operations.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• University or post-graduate degree in Engineering or Science and preferably with MBA degree; 
• With extensive international business contacts and is familiar with international, Mainland China and local technology & industrial sector; 
• Over 20 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, business development and product engineering operation at senior executive level in technology based/manufacturing organization;
• Ability to speak Mandarin and Cantonese would be an advantage
