Campaigner (with a Digital focus)

Location: Vauxhall, London

2.6 billion people want you to read on

It's hard to believe that in today's modern world nearly 900 million people still don't have access to clean water. It's even harder to believe that a full 2.6 billion don't have access to a safe toilet. And if we told you that this situation is killing 4,000 children every day, you would recognise – as we do – that something needs to be done as a matter of urgency.

In this new campaigner role with a digital focus, you will be supporting WaterAid's policy and campaigns team and our advocacy staff in Africa and Asia to step boldly in to the digital era. You will be coming up with the creative ideas that will put taps and toilets on the agenda of every influential Twitter user - and firmly on the map of donors and governments. With WaterAid's new website launching this year you will be joining the organisation at an exciting time for digital campaigning.

We are looking for a digital marketer or communications professional - someone who can come in and shake us up a bit! You will have loads of digital communications experience and you'll be an online natural… but you'll also be interested in politics, development and curious about how change happens in the digital age. If wikis, apps, causes and conversions are the language of your life and if you're interested in how they can help WaterAid change the world… then we want to hear from you!

If you would like more information and an application pack for this position, please download the Campaigner (Digital) Recruitment Pack (DOC File Word 849KB). You will also need to complete the Equal opportunities monitoring form CDIG (DOCX File Word 13KB).

CV's and cover letters should be sent to jobs@wateraid.org.

Please note, in order to apply for this role you must be able to demonstrate your eligibility to work in the UK.
