Campaigner (with an EU focus)

It's hard to believe that in today's modern world nearly 900 million people still don't have access to clean water. It's even harder to believe that a full 2.6 billion don't have access to a safe toilet. And if we told you that this situation is killing 4,000 children every day, you would recognise – as we do – that something needs to be done as a matter of urgency.

In this key new role you'll be leading WaterAid's campaigns targeting EU institutions and member states. Whether you're working with a new coalition in Germany or going to Brussels to lobby on the next EU budget, your work will put water and sanitation on the agenda of one of the biggest donors to the sector. You will also work closely with our UK campaigns manager to deliver innovative campaigns in the UK.

We're looking for a high-flying campaigner with experience of influencing decision makers, particularly in the EU. You will have sound political judgement and a track record of making strategic choices to achieve the greatest impact. You will have the energy and inspiring ideas to bring others with you and ideally if you speak French or Portuguese on top of all that… we want to talk to you!
