Switzerland Senior Business Analyst, P-4

Under the supervision of the Senior Change Management Advisor, the incumbent will:

a) Ensure the ongoing and overall end-to-end integration in the following PeopleSoft financial modules (GL, KK, AP, AR, Budgets, EPM, Banking, Cash Management), particularly in relation to any changes arising from re-engineering initiatives, procedures, accounting and financial policy changes, and system changes specially related to financial modules, procurement, PPE, Inventory and HRMS/Payroll, including system patches, fixes and upgrade initiatives.

b) Provide system functional quality assurance and consistency across the IPSAS implementation project, post implementation and long-term maintenance of the UNHCR IPSAS Accounting Standards.

The incumbent will engage with staff in DFAM and DIST, SMS and DHRM with respect to impacts on the financial and commitment control modules of the PeopleSoft system arising from re-engineering initiatives and changes in financial or accounting policies or changes to the system. The incumbent will also engage with members of the IPSAS implementation project in Geneva and Budapest in order to provide quality assurance and consistency on the business and system solutions arising from the implementation of the project as well as support with specific business solutions as assigned by the management of the IPSAS implementation project..
