Bangladesh Chief of Party – Agriculture / Value Chains

CHF International is seeking a Chief of Party for an anticipated agriculture/private sector development project in Bangladesh. This anticipated program will support economic growth to rural farmers to improve livelihoods and will focus on aquaculture, horticulture, value chains, capacity building, and related areas in Bangladesh. The Chief of Party will provide overall management and general technical direction of the entire program. S/he will serve as a representative to the program, liaising with the donor and other partners, will manage coordination with CHF/HQ, will be responsible for the program achieving target results, and will identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner and suggest appropriate program adjustments.

Qualifications:

•Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or related field. •Significant knowledge of value chain and rural agriculture best practices. •10+ years of international development programming and management experience on USAID projects. •Experience managing large multi-cultural teams. •Experience working in Bangladesh strongly preferred. •Fluency in English, written and spoken. Bangla desired.
