Announcement:
IRG seeks an Asset Management (AM) and Maintenance Management (MM) expert to carry out a review of existing systems and present the best options for the development of an automated company-wide AM/MM system for the Miyahuna Water Company. The USAID-funded program, entitled Institutional Support and Strengthening Program (ISSP), is a three year program funded by USAID to support and develop the water sector in Jordan. The program is implementing a comprehensive package of critical water sector reforms and restructuring. This assignment will be based in Amman, Jordan and is expected to begin as soon as possible. The duration will be for 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Gain an understanding of Miyahuna’s AM/MM structure, operating model, and underlying business strategy and strategic objectives
- Identify AM/MM interfaces and Miyahuna’s AM/MM process
- Perform a gap analysis for current Miyahuna’s AM/MM current practices
- Develop a AM/MM implementation plan
- Identify potential organizational changes to Miyahuna’s AM/MM activities in preparation for automated AM/MM software
- Recommend improvements to the manual processes to enhance AM/MM to a point where the application can be automated
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in engineering, finance, business or a related AM/MM subject
- Minimum 15 years of experience in water resources planning and development, including water utility AM/MM and operations
- Minimum of 5 years in the Middle East or other water scare environments preferred
- Fluency in English required, knowledge of Arabic preferred
