Communications Officer Finance Watch
Job description
- Support the Head of Communications in delivering Finance Watch’s strategic and operational communications objectives.
- Build Finance Watch’s public profile in Europe.
- Implement external and internal communications with Friends, members and the press.
- Contribute to campaigns to build public awareness and financial support.
Profile / main qualifications
- Be committed to Finance Watch’s mission.
- Native-level German and / or French, excellent English.
- Two years’ experience in public or media relations, including campaigning.
- Ability to build social media presence for an organisation.
- Understand the NGO world and be committed to working with Finance Watch’s Members.
- Knowledge of and interest in financial issues and financial regulation.
- Ability to write on financial regulation issues for a professional and for a wider audience.
- Experience in journalism would be an advantage.
- Be a results-oriented and self-motivated individual.
- Be a team player.
Remuneration:
- Dependent on professional background, seniority and work experience.
- Permanent contract.
