Communications Officer Finance Watch

Job description

• Support the Head of Communications in delivering Finance Watch’s strategic and operational communications objectives.
• Build Finance Watch’s public profile in Europe.
• Implement external and internal communications with Friends, members and the press.
• Contribute to campaigns to build public awareness and financial support.

Profile / main qualifications

• Be committed to Finance Watch’s mission.
• Native-level German and / or French, excellent English.
• Two years’ experience in public or media relations, including campaigning.
• Ability to build social media presence for an organisation.
• Understand the NGO world and be committed to working with Finance Watch’s Members.
• Knowledge of and interest in financial issues and financial regulation.
• Ability to write on financial regulation issues for a professional and for a wider audience.
• Experience in journalism would be an advantage.
• Be a results-oriented and self-motivated individual.
• Be a team player.

Remuneration:

• Dependent on professional background, seniority and work experience.
• Permanent contract.
