Country Director World Society for the Protection of Animals

Country Director, Thailand

• Create a world where animal welfare matters and animal cruelty ends
• Advocate for animals via this highly regarded International NGO
• Build upon a successful foundation of successful fundraising and campaigning

The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) is the world’s largest network for animal welfare. For 25 years, WSPA has promoted the concept of animal welfare in regions of the world where there are few, if any, measures to protect animals. WSPA campaigns to convince governments and key decision makers to change practices and introduce new laws to protect or improve the welfare of animals.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Asia Pacific, you will lead and direct WSPA’sThailand office to achieve local, regional and worldwide goals. You will nurture a high-quality and multi-disciplinary team to ensure that the business plan, fundraising objectives and campaigns are further developed, implemented and monitored.

Working closely with your team you will liaise with government authorities, individual, institutional and corporate donors, stakeholder organizations and media as well as managing finances, legal, administration and communications.

You have extensive experience in senior management, not necessarily in the not for profit sector or the animal welfare community, but you must possess a strong understanding of fundraising, operations and communications. You are a strategic thinker and persuasive communicator with the drive and initiative to lead an already successful team. Importantly, you have an eye for detail, with the ability to further develop internal systems and processes.

If you’re an exceptional leader, looking to make a significant impact on animal welfare in Thailand, please contact Templar Executive Search, Ms. Alissa Sriamornchai at +66(2)-237-7875-8 or email you resume to alissas@templarsearch.com by 23rd March 2012
