An outstanding opportunity has now arisen for an Employment lawyer to join McKinsey’s international legal team. Working very closely with other employment lawyers in the US and Brussels, you will focus primarily on employment matters within the EMEA region. You will work on a variety of employment related issues which will include equality and diversity, recruitment, secondments, data protection issues as well as disciplinary topics. You will develop and review McKinsey’s employment contracts, draft and negotiate agreements with independent contractors, collaborate with tax and compensation benefits colleagues on various issues as well as manage any employment litigation. You will also be expected to monitor legislation in key jurisdictions and stay abreast of any developments that may affect McKinsey from an employment law perspective.

You will be an excellent employment lawyer with outstanding academics and at least five years of employment law experience with a top level law firm and / or a multinational corporation. You will have worked across a variety of European jurisdictions and have very good drafting and negotiation skills. Strong English language skills are required; fluency in other languages will be viewed favourably. As a confident team player you will be highly collaborative and flexible and able to work autonomously. Impeccable business judgment and ethics are a must.
