Equity Investment Analyst

Oikocredit is an Experienced Social Investor with a broad investor base and over 35 years experience financing businesses in (currently 70) developing countries.

Oikocredit has adopted an ambitious strategy to expand Equity investments. With this strategy to expand equity investments worldwide, at Oikocredit International based in Amersfoort we are currently looking for an

Equity Investment Analyst

(36 hours a week)

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for portfolio investment and governance decisions
• Support the Investment Officers from the initial evaluation through the negotiations, to the closing process of investments
• Prepare and present detailed proposals to the Equity Unit and Investment Committee
• Collaborate with internal and external colleagues to maximize dual impact and success of Oikocredit’s global equity activities

Education and experience:

• Master degree in the field of finance, economics or development
• At least 2 years [private] equity investment experience
• Work experience with financial models
• Knowledge of developing countries and cross-cultural experiences
• Thorough knowledge of English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Other languages highly desirable
• Enthusiasm for travel (20 – 25%)
