Evaluation Co-ordinator, based at ZSL London Zoo

£27,096 p.a. inclusive, pro rata

ZSL London Zoo seeks a highly motivated individual to design and deliver visitor research. We want to find out more about our visitors and ensure we are effective in communicating to them, whether through our exhibits or live interpretation. The Evaluation Co-ordinator will work with the Discovery and Learning team to determine evaluation priorities and decide how best to implement formative, front-end and summative evaluation. They will work with the team to embed evaluation as part of the culture, helping individuals set up their own simple and effective evaluation systems. They will also develop links with Universities to set up and co-supervise relevant student projects.

You must have:
• Experience of developing and conducting visitor research, preferably within a Zoo or Museum context.
• Excellent communication skills required to approach and engage members of the public in evaluation, putting them at ease.
• Good understanding of attraction audiences and how people learn
• Extensive knowledge of evaluation and visitor research, including quantitative and qualitative methods, visitor tracking, focus groups, questionnaire design and interviews.
• Experience of evaluation and visitor research analyses and report writing.
• Strong organisational skills, an ability to work independently whilst also contributing to team projects.
