(ICT) Officer - Applications Developer University of Leeds

Fixed term for two years

You will be an important addition to the web services, IT and communications team. You will have a specialist role in developing and providing first line support for Unipol applications and programmes as well as a general role in supporting the IT team to ensure that Unipol's technology infrastructure, particularly the maintenance of user applications and the network support server infrastructure, is maintained and to assist in respect of changes an additions made to the infrastructure and both hardware and software.

You will work under the supervision of the Communications and IT Manager but will be expected to work with some independence within the team to identify approach and resolve a number of issues within the areas that you work in. It is important that you can work co-operatively as part of the team and maintains the existing strong service ethos.

You must be able to deal efficiently with internal staff queries and requests.

The post could suit a well informed and keen technology graduate, anxious to extend their knowledge into supporting and assisting a moderately sized technology operation within an organisation recognised for providing an efficient web service to over 100,000 web users and to over 70 staff.

University Grade 5 (£20,559 - £23,811 p.a.) according to qualifications and relevant experience
