Qualifications:
PhD in Economics and a good research and publication record.
Experience:
Teaching Economic Statistics and Econometrics or Social and Economic Accounting at the undergraduate level and Advanced Econometrics at the postgraduate level. A sound track record in the supervision of graduate and research students in Economics.
Special Expertise:
Resource and Environmental Economics, Regulatory Economics, Economics of Project Planning or Behavioural Economics.
Special Responsibilities:
Supervision of MSc, MPhil and PhD students. Participation in departmentally-initiated research activities including research clusters in Health, Sustainable Development, Trade, Economic Development, Labour and Poverty.
Personal Attributes:
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment. A strong team player with a demonstration of good and effective communication skills. An interest in interacting with the national and regional community will be an asset.
