SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

Qualifications/Experience:

• PhD in Chemical Engineering.

• Combination of teaching, research and industrial experience in chemical engineering.

• A track record of original research and publications is essential.

Special Expertise/Area of Concentration:

• The applicant must be qualified to teach a range of core undergraduate chemical engineering courses, but specialising in chemical engineering thermodynamics and reaction engineering, and to contribute to advanced courses in the MSc program.

• The applicant must be qualified to contribute to the Department’s design curriculum, and to advise on students’ design projects.

• The applicant must have the interest and experience that will help in building one or more of the Department’s research focus areas of sustainable energy systems, process simulation and safety, natural products, and biologically-based systems.

Personal Attributes:

The successful candidate must have the ability to develop and to maintain a positive working relationship with students, academic, technical and administrative staff within the Department and the University, as well as to interface with the regional industry.
