LECTURER IN OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualifications in Management Science or Production/Operations Management
or Industrial Engineering, preferably at the PhD level

Experience:
Considerable experience in teaching at the University level or in industry at a managerial level

Areas of Specialization:
Total Quality Management, Capacity Planning & Control, Job Design and Work Measurement,
Facility Layout, Queuing Theory, Inventory Management, Purchasing and Logistics Management, Project Planning and Control.

Ability to teach in any other Management discipline would be an asset.

Responsibilities:
Teaching, Research and Curriculum Development in assigned field. Supervision of post-graduate students.

Personal Attributes:
Good communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work as part of a team. Commitment to the Vision and Mission of the Department.
