PROGRAM MANAGER – INFRASTRUCTURE

Reporting to the Unit Manager for Transport, this position will manage implementation of existing projects and programs and participate in development of new programs. This will include exercising daily project management and evaluation skills, conducting and/or commissioning analysis or review in the sector, synthesising learning, and communicating research, evaluation and other assessments to management and development partners.

The Selection Criteria for the Position

Essential Criteria

  1. Demonstrated experience managing complex and high-profile development programs (preferably infrastructure programs) including interaction with key Government and donor stakeholders;

  2. Developed communication, negotiation and representation skills in English and Indonesian;

  3. Demonstrated analytical skills and knowledge of key economic, political, social and cultural issues in development and relevant Australian/Indonesian policy;

  4. Ability to work under pressure, sensitively and cooperatively work with people in a multi-cultural environment;

  5. Familiarity with Australian Government administrative processes and procedures

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience in development agencies, donors, NGOs or other relevant organisations
