Senior Advisor for Expansion PT Rekan USaha Mikro Anda

The Advisor will be responsible for advising Ruma's Operations in expanding Ruma's network from 9,000 to 25,000 agents and from 7 branches to 20 branches in 2012. Ruma's agents are micro-entrepreneurs in semi-rural and rural villages that sell prepaid minutes and information services to their community. The Advisor will provide advice on the location selection, development of expansion Standard Operating Procedures, recruitment of staff, and other issues that involve the expansion of Ruma's branch network. The Advisor will work closely to the Operations Manager and report directly to the CEO.

The ideal candidate for the position would be someone with 10-15 years of experience building branches for micro-finance, retail product distribution/sales for consumer products, or financial services companies. Experience working in rural areas and with lower income populations is required The candidate should have experience managing quotas, targets, fraud prevention, and customer service. The position requires a commitment of at least 4 months in Indonesia.

Hiring Criteria:

- 10+ years of experience in Managing a Sales and Distribution network for a consumer product/finance company
- Prior experience in opening up at least 10 branches for micro-finance, retail product distribution/sales for consumer products or financial services.
- Prior experience managing a sales team of over 100+ staff
- Fluent in English, Bahasa is a plus
- Experience working with mobile-phone products is a plus
