The Civil Infrastructure business unit in Perth provide first-class civil engineering consulting services to a broad cross section of private and public sector clients across Perth and regional WA. We are part of the Cardno Group, with over 6200 employees across more than 250 offices globally. With a growing list of projects in hand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer/ Cad Manager to join this vibrant team.
The successful applicants will have the following skills and attributes:
  • A willingness to develop your skills to lead and manage a team of design engineers for projects including the design of roads and stormwater drainage for subdivisions and commercial developments
  • Sound working knowledge of 12D and AutoCAD software packages
  • Sound knowledge of relevant drafting standards
  • Experience in managing design projects and client/stakeholder liaison will be highly regarded
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
Your role will include but not be limited to:
  • Design of civil projects using 12D and AutoCAD
  • Assisting to manage and lead a team of designers and drafters
  • Play a crucial role in the continued success of the civil design team
