Support Officer: Finance International HIV/AIDS Alliance

The International HIV/AIDS Alliance supports communities to meet the challenges of AIDS and build healthier communities. Our vision is a world in which people do not die of AIDS. Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions of people.

We are seeking a Support Officer: Finance to take responsibility for producing cost applications for proposals and task order requests developed by the Resource Mobilisation team. S/he will liaise closely with Field Programme and Resource Mobilisation staff to ensure that budgets reflect the technical application, as well as the requirements outlined in the proposal guidelines. S/he will also provide support to ensure adequate cost recovery under restricted funding proposals. S/he will work to support Resource Mobilisation officers and work with Field Programme staff to ensure donor restrictions are complied with and passed onto partner organizations and sub recipients. The Support Officer will take the lead on liaising with the Finance team to produce financial information for the Resource Mobilisation team as required.

The successful candidate will bring excellent budgeting and communication skills, experience in fundraising or international work, and a commitment to be part of a hardworking team.
