Royal Republiq is an international leather concept brand with base in Denmark and Holland. With product lines in footwear, bags and accessories we supply to fashion- and footwear stores. We are aiming for an ongoing CSR (corporate social responsibility) process and we invest in long term relationships with all stakeholders as well as optimising production processes. Due to growth of the organisation, Royal Republiq is looking for a:
Warehouse and Logistics Manager (32 hours a week)
You are a creative, dedicated en passionate professional and will be responsible for setting up our new warehouse in the Amsterdam area. You will become responsible for all logistic flows inside as well as around the company. You are an accurate person who loves to take responsibility for critical parts of the operation. You are a social and flexible team member and a customer oriented problem solver. The Amsterdam Royal Republiq team consists of four passionate and very hard working women and men, each with their own expertise, helping out colleagues whenever necessary. The language spoken is mainly English.
The main task is to establish the new main warehouse in the Amsterdam area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set up our the new Amsterdam based warehouse (currently placed in Denmark);
• All logistics operations: inbound as well as outbound;
• Plan internal logistics for a Pick and pack warehouse;
• Customer satisfaction and relationship management;
• Logistic communications to clients, shippers and Royal Republiq office;
• Monitor service level performance, propose and implement improvements;
• Be part of the implementation of the new IT platform;
• Solve issues proactively and effectively.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or related;
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in (international) business logistics, preferably including sourcing from Latin America/Asia and sales to major European clients;
• Demonstrable knowledge or interest in CSR-issues and/or sustainable commodity supply chains, sustainable fashion;
• Strong communication and representation skills;
• Fluency in both English and Dutch in speech and writing (Danish is an asset)
• Demonstrable experience in working in a international environment;
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities in a very dynamic environment, independent, pragmatic, self-starting, self-managing;
• Knowledge and experience with different (online) warehouse computer modules and the ability to unlearn and adapt to new systems;
• High conversion ability to adapt to ongoing changes of market situations.
