Division Chief, Capital Markets and Financial Institutions

The Chief of the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions Division, reports to the Institutions for Development Sector Department (IFD) under the Vice-President for Sectors and Knowledge (VPS). The Chief of the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions (CMF) will support the Bank’s strategy and operations in the financial sector and capital markets. A key component of the responsibilities will be to ensure a successful management of the technical and professional talent in this area to translate innovation in Bank products, processes, and instruments into relevant programs and projects outcomes.

Division Chief, Financial Markets

The Chief of the Financial Markets Division reports to the Manager of the Structured and Corporate Finance Department (SCF) within the Vice-Presidency for Private Sector and Non-Sovereign Guaranteed Operations (VPP). The Chief of the Financial Markets Division (SCF/FMK) will be responsible for SCF’s operations in the financial markets. S/he will manage a team of professionals with the objective of generating a growing amount of high quality, creditworthy and sustainable projects that result
in significant development impact.

Experience in managing multi-disciplinary and/or cross-sector teams, with demonstrated well-honed integration skills is critical for the success in these positions as well as demonstrated experience in leading and implementing financial sector and capital markets projects in the Region. Candidates must have a Master’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
