L & K - Education Reporting and Metrics Analyst

GBS Learning and Knowledge (L&K) is responsible for education and knowledge sharing for GBS staff worldwide. To determine the progress and success of that mission, it is necessary to be able to provide reporting on those areas. This role is responsible for creating and modifying SQL queries and reports using Brio and Cognos, troubleshooting reporting/data issues, assisting with setting up data feeds into the datamart using DataStage, making sure all reports are in compliance with data privacy rules in all countries, creating dashboards, responding to inquiries, creating job aids to assist end users with how to use reports, and some database admin. Migration from Brio to Cognos is in process. Responsibilities This role is responsible for: creating and modifying SQL queries and reports using Brio and Cognos, troubleshooting reporting/data issues, assisting with setting up data feeds into the datamart using DataStage, making sure all reports are in compliance with data privacy rules in all countries, creating dashboards, responding to inquiries, creating job aids to assist end users with how to use reports, database administration Skills and Qualifications Preferred At least 7 years experience in Expert in SQL - writing complex SQL from scratch At least 7 years experience in Cognos BI or Brio advanced/complex report writing At least 1 year experience in Cognos Framework Manager modelling At least 1 year experience in HTML - creating and editing web pages At least 1 year experience in Business Objects Xcelsius - dashboard creation and editing At least 1 year experience in DataStage At least 2 years experience in LMS support (preferably Saba)
Required
Bachelor's Degree At least 4 years experience in Use Analysis/Reporting/Query Tools At least 4 years experience in Apply Problem Solving Techniques At least 4 years experience in SQL - writing complex SQL from scratch At least 3 years experience in Advanced Excel Skills - complex macros, all types of lookups, pivot tables, etc. At least 4 years experience in Cognos BI or BRIO advanced/complex report writing At least 1 year experience in Linux At least 2 years experience in Apply Project Management English: Fluent
Preferred
At least 1 year experience in Develop Solution from Requirements At least 2 years experience in Database Administration At least 1 year experience in Creating Reports in Cognos
