(CUPSL's initiative for "National Recruitment Program of Global Experts")

The China University of Political Science and Law (CUPSL) is one of the top public funded universities under "project 211" of Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China. No.1 ranking of Law related study and research among all Chinese Universities. CUPSL currently boasts two campuses in Beijing which are connected by free shuttle bus in Beijing.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Conduct critical academic projects in related subject area, lead and support CUPSL to deliver top quality academic research achievements.
• A successful candidate will be full-time working in university during the period of employment (No less than 6 months an academic year).
• The successful candidate must have obtained a Doctorate Degree from an overseas’ university, she/he also must have served as a professor or in an equivalent position at a renowned overseas’ higher education institute, scientific research institute, or a renowned international enterprise or financial institution.
• The successful candidate must have conducted top-quality research work within their research area, and published 3-5 influential academic papers with key academic publications within the last 5 years, as well as one representative publication.
• The university will support the candidates who meet the requirements above to gain the seat of exceptional global expert from "National Recruitment Program of Global Experts"

Remark: Employment contract with university will be confirmed once approval from Ministry of Education obtained for the successful candidate as nominated exceptional global expert for the "National Recruitment Program of Global Experts". Due to the recruitment nature of "National Recruitment Program of Global Experts", the job has to be full-time and unfortunately visiting professorship is not available currently.

Compensation and Benefits:

• RMB 500,000 to 600,000 for 6 months full time employment every academic year.
• Choice of working 6 months per academic year.
• The university will provide office, facility and research fund needed to support academic and research work in a generous manner.
• One personal research assistant.
• Free accommodation in Beijing, a two-bed room apartment with essential facility including bills will be provided by the university.
• Free round-trip economy class air-tickets from successful candidate's country of residence to Beijing, up to 3 times a year during the period of employment.

About "National Recruitment Program of Global Experts"

A Chinese central government funded national level recruitment program targetted on overseas' top quality experts since 2008.The program aims to import international expertise and intelligence to the People's Republic of China from overseas.

Top public funded universities in China are massively benefited from this program in terms of recruitment budget and research fund. Once the successful candidate has been recruited by the university through "National Recruitment Program of Global Expert", she or he will be expected and funded by either university or related division of central government to conduct critical research project with significant strategic importance.

Initially the "National Recruitment Program of Global Experts" targeted on overseas experts of Chinese origin, with the internationalization of the economy and social development, now the program is welcome experts of any nationality.
