Specialist - Assembly Engineering: TEMA-TX
Vehicle / part design review and confirmation to standard's with recommendation proposal to improve Safety/Ergo, Quality and Productivity.
Investigate impact to processing and equipment based upon vehicle and parts changes at manufacturing facility.
Develop equipment specifications for new equipment or modification to existing equipment.
Create schedule / plan for process or equipment (new or modified) and incorporating vendor procurement activity.
Responsible for control of schedule, including problem "root cause analysis" / countermeasure activity for defects and problems.
Confirm equipment change points meet needs for Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Targets.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
1+ years xperience working in automotive or manufacturing field.
Experience in process equipment implementation and troubleshooting.
Experience in "hands-on" engineering.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Ability to work occasional weekends + holidays if necessary.
Must have current unlimited work authorization in U.S.
Preferred:
2+ years experience working with AutoCAD.
Vehicle Assembly knowledge and manufacturing experience
Knowledge of Catia
