Duties: Before undertaking Graduate studies, the successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties: (i) supervise laboratories and conduct tutorials for General Chemistry and Physical Chemistry; (ii) mark tests, exams and laboratory reports in Physical Chemistry; (iii) carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department. Requirements: candidates should (i) have a BSc Degree in Chemistry or related fields with at least a 2(i) pass and an overall aggregate not less than 65%; (ii) have outstanding grades in undergraduate Physical Chemistry courses; (iii) preference will be given to candidates who show an understanding of, and a commitment to a career as a University academic. (iv) the successful candidate will be trained in Physical Chemistry for advanced Degree(s) and must be willing to pursue studies in the following areas: Spectroscopy, Surface Chemistry and Electrochemistry.
