Main responsibility and description of the proposed work
  • Elaboration of a three year action plan providing a suitable framework for gender mainstreaming within AU/NPCA. This should be based on a comprehensive needs’ assessment of NPCA priority programmes and implementation mechanism. To ensure effective implementation of the project, gender mainstreaming tools, guidelines and protocols, as well as technical assistance on priority programmes and processes will be provided.
  • Stock taking and fact finding of current status of inclusion of gender in CAADP processes to foster food security and economic growth
  • The gender mainstreaming OF CAADP shall ensure that gender is critically included in the pillar framework documents, pre and post compact review and activities, capacity building strategy and stakeholder engagement etc
