Salary: R464 919 per annum (all-inclusive salary package)

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Science or Public Administration or any related field. Postgraduate degree in legal field will serve as an added advantage • 3 years’ managerial experience • In-depth understanding of the human settlement sector and Government policy processes • Demonstrable knowledge of outcome 8, human settlement policy frameworks, and Public Finance Management Act • Analytical skills and stakeholder interaction are essential.

Duties: • Develop and manage the sector operational strategy • Develop systems to monitor sector compliance with governance frameworks • Provide and manage sector compliance and advocacy • Advise the department on emerging policy trends and delivery models affecting human settlement delivery • Manage liaison with the sector stakeholders on sector policy programmes and compliance matters • Manage resources (human, financial and equipment) of the Sub-directorate.
