This is being achieved by providing high quality services to the business community in Dubai. The job holder is responsible for preparing analytic and statistical reports and providing statistical information in order to support the role of Dubai Chamber in this area.
Job Purpose
  • To identify sources of new information, collect data and create new databases, featuring efficient data storage, updating and retrieval system
  • To design and conduct surveys in accordance with the objectives/requirements of the projects/studies for which they are being undertaken
  • To collect quality data for updating existing database
  • To continually review existing systems and procedures for against new international standards for data storage, updating and retrieval, and for technical report generation
  • To prepare analytical reports based on the information generated from databases & surveys
  • To keep abreast with developments in the field of data collection, classification, analysis and management in order to utilize latest tools and techniques recommended for specific purposes
  • To assist in preparing and communicating relevant regular and ad hoc managerial reports providing information on the status and issues pertaining to data management
  • To provide technical and statistical assistance to the researchers and to other units in the Economic Research & Sustainable Business Development Sector 
Expert knowledge in the following fields:
  • Masters Degree in Statistics or in related fields (Econometrics. Economics, Information Science, etc)
  • At least 2 years experience in databasing and conducting surveys
  •  Proficient in the use of statistical analysis software and basic databasing tools e.g. SPSS, Access etc.
  • Technical report writing skills in English (Arabic would be an advantage)
