Job Summary
Cardno JFNew is looking to add a Senior Project Scientists/ Project Manager to our Cincinnati, OH office. This person will work with a multidisciplinary team of accomplished biologists, ecologists and engineers on a variety of projects in the Central Region.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- This person will work closely with Sr. Project Scientist and Project Managers in the Central Area
- Work on projects related to the transportation and energy sector.
- Regulatory Permitting
- Wetland Delineations
- Reporting and Monitoring.
- Develop and actively pursue new markets to acquire additional work for the company, and maintain client relationships on existing projects
Key Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Natural Resources related field (Advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum of five years of experience required.
- At least 5 years experience with Project Management, wetland delineation and NEPA.
- Experience with linear corridor projects.
- Transportation Sector Experience (ODOT Prequalification for NEPA tasks, Waterway Permitting, Ecological Surveys
- Wetland and Stream Restoration experience required
- Business Development experience required
- Budgeting experience
- Ability to manage $100K+ projects and develop $250K in new revenue annually
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with internal staff and a wide range of clients in a fast-paced work environment
- Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines
- Positive, collaborative, flexible, team-oriented approach, with the willingness and desire to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Willing and able to Possible travel- up to 15% per month
- Eight to ten years of relevant experience preferred
- Stormwater Management and LID (Low Impact Development/Design)
- GIS/CAD
- Energy Sector experience (FERC and/or OPSB)
- Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS)
- ODOT pre-qualification for water way permitting, ecological surveys EA/EIS
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish) is a plus
