Job Summary

​Serves as Project Manager for Subsurface Utility Engineering and Utility Coordination projects. Responsible for project setup, project delivery, project controls, business development, client satisfaction, contract management, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• ​Plans, schedules, and coordinates field crews and work to meet project scope requirements.
• Initiates, prepares and reviews proposals. Participates in interviews and presentations.
• Serves as a representative of Cardno TBE at client meetings.
• Prepares project deliverables and project related correspondence.
• Responsible for accuracy, timeliness and financial performance of assigned projects.
• Manages client contracts, including fee estimation, project set-up and execution of work under senior management supervision.
• Establishes and maintains quality assurance plans and safety plans for assigned projects.
• Assists senior management in developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients.

Other Requirements

• ​Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Surveying, Construction Management, Geophysics or related field is preferred.
  Minimum of four (4) years of experience is required.
• Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer, Surveyor or Geologist or ability to obtain future licensure is preferred.
• Experience in leadership, project management and staff supervision is preferred.
• Must have strong skills in the following areas: written and oral communication, supervisory and mentoring, attention to details and accuracy, planning, decision making, problem solving.

Normal office environment with occasional field site visits for progress review and quality control or estimating new work. Occasional travel required for meetings and conferences.
