for the position of

Senior Evaluation Officer
at its headquarters in Rome, Italy

The CGIAR is a global partnership that unites organizations engaged in research for a food-secure future. Research is carried out by 15 centres, which are members of the CGIAR Consortium in partnership with many research and development organizations.  As part of the reform of the CGIAR, an Independent Evaluation Arrangement (IEA) Office has been established, located in FAO. The main mandate of the IEA is to undertake strategic evaluation of major research programs of the CGIAR.

Requirements: The minimum requirements include a university degree in agricultural or related disciplines, including economic or social science or evaluation, ten years’ relevant experience in evaluation and in the analysis of agricultural and rural development issues at the international level, and working knowledge of English and limited knowledge of French or Spanish.
