The Conflict Research Unit of the Clingendael Institute, a leading thinktank and training centre in the field of international relations, has a vacancy per 1 February 2013:

Senior Research Fellow Job Creation and Socio-Economic Development m/f for 36 hours per week (fulltime) Vacancy number: CRU.12.06

Candidates for the vacancy are familiar with international and Dutch policy debates on engaging in fragile and conflict-affected situations, particularly with regard to thematic areas relevant to the position. They have a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience; a university degree in social or political sciences; proven experience with research and policy advice; and strong analytical qualities and writing skills.

* This position is for 12 months, with a possibility for extension.
