The Climate Group is an independent, not-for-profit organisation working internationally with very senior government and business leaders to cut global emissions and unlock a clean industrial revolution. The Climate Group has operations in Australia, China, Europe, India and North America. 

Our sub-national government network States and Regions Alliance currently comprise 24 full members as well as over 30 affiliate regions worldwide. Based on its own governance structure, the Alliance drives sub-national government climate ambition through joint public commitments, as well as driving concrete action in member-led working groups linking regions amongst each other as well as with corporate partners within our network. 

Our current director is moving on to an exciting more senior role and we will be replacing him with someone who will build on his excellent work by substantially developing our global States and Regions network. The successful candidate may not yet be working at director level, but will unquestionably be a strategic thinker and have a successful track record in building and managing partnerships, probably within government and/or the corporate sector and internationally. You will be ambitious and results focused, but politically astute and will achieve primarily through influencing and negotiating positively. We are a small organisation and you will be prepared to work hands-on in managing the detail and also take responsibility for developing and managing funding.
