Logistics Manager (Haiti)
Role and Responsibilities
The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the supply chain as well as overseeing the use and maintenance of vehicles, essential communication equipment and other assets. An important part of the work is to ensure all logistical requirements are met in a timely, efficient and accurate manner whilst also meeting relevant information, reporting and accountability requirements.

Project Overview
In Haiti, our Jacmel logistics team supports the shelter project working in Jacmel and surrounding rural areas and also acts as the support base for the busy site in Cotes- de-Fer, a remote, mountainous area where Medair runs shelter, food security and WASH projects. The aim of our projects is to rebuild and strengthen resources for communities hit by the earthquake in 2013 and by subsequent tropical storms in 2012 and are constantly evolving to meet the changing needs and Medair’s response.

Medair has standard working requirements for working in the field. A very important one is that you need to be a comitted Christian. Another is that if you're married, your spouse must also apply.
