Our name says it all. Catapults are technology and innovation centres that stimulate innovation and accelerate growth, triggering a new industrial revolution across the UK.
They will form a network of centres of excellence in applied research and development, being established by the Technology Strategy Board, where the best businesses, scientists and engineers work together to create world-leading innovations and make a significant and lasting contribution to our economy.
